Throughout his life, Jeff has been dedicated to sport. In his youth, Jeff was a track and field athlete and a member of Ontario Provincial championship teams in baseball and football. He continued to compete as an adult, earning spots in the semi finals in both the 100m and 200m sprints at the World Masters Games in 2005. He played senior “AA” baseball for the Edmonton Blackhawks 2006-2008. Running has always been a passion, specifically sprints. In an effort to gain perspective on distance training Jeff completed marathons in both Vancouver and Toronto.
Jeff has been a fitness professional since 1991, helping many achieve their health goals as a trainer. Helped thousands more as a health & lifestyle commentator on “Canadian Learning and Access” television. Jeff also appeared on Slice Network’s Gemini award winning fitness reality series “Taking it Off” and currently sits weekly as CBC Radio One Health and Fitness columnist on Edmonton AM.
Jeff’s philosophy is evidence based exercise prescription, no gimmicks! Areas of specialization include strength and conditioning,weight loss and creating sport specific performance programs.

Weight training, golf, travel, wine, art and photography. Loves Tennis! But not very good at it.
